First Capital Federal Credit Union is a full-service financial institution serving the needs of members throughout York County, Pennsylvania, and the United States. Membership in the Credit Union is open to all employees and their families of companies within our Field of Membership.

Who are we looking for:

Individuals who can provide exceptional service, work with our members on their loan needs, and provide our members guidance on the right Credit Union products and services to meet their needs. Our Member Service Officers also assist members with their checking and savings needs, such as CDs and IRAs, digital services such as our mobile app, and identifying opportunities for new products as services. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with members on their loan and financial needs, eager to learn new skills, have excellent written and oral communication, the ability to multi-task, and a passion for helping people. 

Education & Skills

• High School or Equivalent.
• Ability to navigate/operate a PC in a Windows based system and apps, with ease.
• Able to professionally communicate with members via phone, email, and in-person.
• Two years minimum working in customer service, banking, or a related field.

• Member Service Officers learn and are skilled in a variety of functions to be ready when advancement opportunities open. 

Working Conditions

• Work will be conducted in a well-lighted and ventilated office setting.
• Sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and navigating stairwells required during working hours.

General Summary

First Capital Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time Member Service Representative MSR (Teller) to join our growing team. The Member Service Representative MSR (Teller) will serve as a liaison between First Capital and its members. The Member Service Representative MSR (Teller) will be responsible for conducting transactions, providing account information. The Member Service Representative will provide prompt and professional service that consistently demonstrates our mission, vision, and core values. Minimum Requirements

• The Member Service Representative MSR (Teller) will need to be professional and provide prompt, positive and courteous service to the members by listening, communicating effectively, making eye contact, smiling, and using the members' name.
• The Member Service Representative MSR (Teller) will be expected to assess a member financial needs to promote, and cross-sell products and services offered by the Credit Union to meet established sales goals and build productive relationships.
• The Member Service Representative MSR (Teller) will be expected to operate a cash drawer and perform routine member transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
• The Member Service Representative MSR (Teller) will be expected to perform member account requests to include but not limited to maintenance, name change, and address changes.
• The Member Service Representative MSR (Teller) will have to show completion of a high school diploma or GED.
• The Member Service Representative MSR (Teller) should have experience in a financial institution, retail cash operations or customer service position.
